Step1- This is the preparatory step of massage and is initiated with proper lubrication of breast. Breast massage is applied to the breast to make it free from dryness and enhance the smooth massage movements. Oil is applied to do away the trouble of friction in process and is applied with circulatory movements in the outward direction from centre of chest to underarms. The stroke here should be slower rather than faster and should be applied with no more pressure than applied on eye-lids for effective results.
Step2- Once the breasts are aptly lubricated, kneading strokes are applied with both hands accompanied by lifting and delicate pressing of breast. In this step of massage, breast are gently fondled and squeezed.

Step 4- Termed as relaxing and winding up step, gentle strokes from the fingertips of both the hand are incorporated from centre to outward direction.
