Haritaki, also known as Terminalia chebula, a major constituent of Triphala, contributing greatly in balancing and rejuvenating body. Haritaki grows as a tree with branchlets and leaf buds. Leaves are distant and ovate. Flowers are white or yellow colored with prominent smell. Fruits are ob-ovoid or ellipsoidal in shape.
