Please note that Krav Maga is different from traditional martial arts, karate or taekwondo. Today the applicability of Krav Maga is not restricted to armed forces or military personnel. With increasing awareness, Krav Maga is becoming a very innovative style of exercise that is attracting children, men, women and senior citizens as well.

Krav Maga uses a set of basic moves that help in proper circulation of blood in our body and keeps every part of our body engaged thus making it function properly. There are no fixed rules for this exercise. All it contains are different moves for neck, eyes, throat, knees, groin and other parts of our body. It is slowly becoming a popular choice for physical fitness, as it includes many cardiovascular, stretching and strength building exercises. There are many exercises like Lunges, Plyometric push-ups, Plyometric hops, kick boxing, punching, etc. In Krav Maga, emphasis is laid on speed, endurance, flexibility, accuracy and coordination.

Thus performing Krav Maga can definitely be an excellent option for exercising, but one needs to first learn these techniques. And learning the Krav Maga techniques means consulting an expert who can provide proper training and guidance. Do not perform these techniques by reading books or magazines or by seeing someone practice them on the internet or TV.
