Some essential amino acids are found in honey which are the building blocks of proteins.
Honey has been used to develop “Hibernation Diet” by a British pharmacist. It has the capacity to activate functioning of the body while asleep. This helps in weight loss. It triggers fat metabolism. Honey contains 1:1 ratio of glucose to fructose. Hence it is an ideal food that maintains optimal blood sugar levels in body.

Honey is an excellent moisturizer. Entire skin texture can be improved using mixture of honey and lemon juice. Take these ingredients in equal quantities and apply all over the body after bath. Keep it for 10 minutes then wash of with water.
Honey helps in removing skin blemishes. Soak a few almonds in water overnight. Take two almonds and make their paste with milk. Add just 4 drops of honey and apply this paste on face and neck regions. Regular use of this paste reduces scars and blemishes within 2 months.
