Vitamin E

Vitamin E is the official vitamin of the cosmetic industry. It vitamin is a wonder breakthrough in the antioxidant category. The vitamin E consists of in total 8 chemical antioxidants. One comprised as tocopherols and the other comprised as tocotrienols.

Vitamin E has the power to neutralize the free radicals present in the body. Free radicals are formed due to oxidation of the tissues and cells. These are principle cause for ageing. Vitamin E is maintained actively as alpha tocopherols in the body.

Vitamin acts as haemostatic. It is required for blood clotting, along with Vitamin K. It also helps in healing of the wounds, yet another advantage as an antioxidant.
