Vitamin E, more popularly known as the beauty vitamin, provides several health benefits. It must be supplemented along with zinc, preferably. Under any circumstances, the daily dose of vitamin E should not exceed 1200 IU when taking over-the counter drugs.

Vitamin E is present in surplus amount in nature in the form of foods. Almonds, strawberries, papaya, peach, coco, mango, peanuts, walnuts carry vitamin E is huge quantities. Vegetarian sources of tocopherol include broccoli, spinach, turnips, tomatoes, carrots, dandelion greens, pumpkin, sweet potato and beet greens.
Non vegetarian sources include eggs and fish. Oils that are rich source of vitamin E include sesame seed oil, flax seed oil, soybean oil and extra virgin olive oil.
