Cinnamon is not only a spice, which is added to increase the taste of the food, it in turn has several such properties that can be used to cure several diseases and infections.
Various researches are going on to see the changes that are brought in the body by using cinnamon.
It has been found that people who chew gums of cinnamon or at least smell it before going for any test or exam had better memory function and could process the information quickly.
For arthritis patients it works wonders. Drink warm water mixed with two spoons honey and one spoon cinnamon powder every day in morning and night. This would help to treat chronic arthritis also.
If you are having hair loss problem then mix olive oil, honey and cinnamon powder and apply on the scalp before taking bath for at least 5 to 10 minutes, this would help to prevent hair loss.
Cinnamon is very effective for treatment of high cholesterol levels. Mix honey and cinnamon powder in water and drink it. The magic is that at least 10% of the cholesterol level is reduced within 2 hours.
Not only this, but blood insulin levels also get effected by taking cinnamon as a medicine. If a person is given two spoons of cinnamon powder for at least 40 days the results would be that the blood sugar levels would reduce. But consult the doctor before starting any treatment.
Cinnamon is also good for skin. If you have pimples, apply paste made up of three spoons honey and one spoon cinnamon powder on them and leave it overnight. This would eliminate the pimples from the roots. Other skin infections like eczema, ringworms or any other problem also gets treated by applying this simple paste.
