Understanding Female Orgasm
June 19, 2009
Female orgasm is a condition in which a woman reaches her climax during a sexual activity. For a woman to reach orgasm, it is not necessary to have physically intercourse.
Sometimes, a woman climaxes even without touching her genitals; it is rare though. There are different types of female orgasms, depending upon which part of the body is aroused and excited.
It is worth remembering that female orgasm is different from male orgasm. When a woman reaches her orgasm, she does not ejaculate any fluid, which men do. During an orgasm, a woman experiences an increased heart rate, blood pressure and heavy breathing. She starts feeling pain in her limbs, especially her pelvis region due to constant tension that is being applied by the other partner.
A woman can have two types or orgasms: clitoral orgasm and vaginal orgasm.
Clitoral orgasm involves stimulating the clitoris to reach the orgasm. Clitoris is an area of a woman’s vagina which is sensitive enough to arouse her and get her to climax. Merely rubbing the clitoris or massaging it is enough to lead to the orgasm.
Vaginal orgasm involves stimulating the vagina, especially the G-spot to reach orgasm. Vagina is usually rubbed or massaged with fingers or some vibrators and that arouses the woman to reach the climax. Many times, penetration can also help a woman to reach her orgasm.
It has been found that woman reach orgasm much earlier when they stimulate the clitoris than when penetration is achieved. The most preferred tool to do so is of course – fingers. A man can help a woman reach orgasm by playing with her clitoris or vagina. Penetration is not necessary for this as she can climax on her own. But the man can make use of fingers, tongue or rub his penis against her clitoris and arouse her to a high level of tension that she finally reaches her orgasm.
It is important to remember that every woman have different ways to reach orgasm. Also, the timing can vary for every woman to climax. While some women might experience single orgasm, others might prefer sequential or multiple orgasm. Therefore, there is no right or wrong way to achieve orgasm. The way you like it, is the way you should have it.
