Trimesters of Pregnancy
Pregnancy is an experience for any new parent. Every woman has different symptoms for this. If you suspect that you are pregnant then go for pregnancy test.
If the test is positive then visit your doctor so that she can start up with extra supplements needed by your baby to grow. Pre-natal care is very important.
Some of the symptoms of pregnancy are missed menstrual periods, nausea, headache, heartburn, feeling of faintness, tender breasts, weakness and constipation.
First Trimester
Pregnancy is categorized into three trimesters. First trimester starts when you come to know about pregnancy. Frequent urination is the common problem during first month of pregnancy. Other symptoms include tender breasts and depression for no reason.
Nausea and morning sickness starts from second month. Different changes in the body begin to occur.
During the third month, baby is formed. You can hear the heart beat of the baby. Hands and feet are also formed and the baby is nearly 4 inches long.
Second Trimester
With the beginning of fourth month, second trimester starts. As it starts, the morning sickness becomes less and craving for certain foods start. Women can feel the movement of the baby. Baby becomes nearly 7 inches long. You start feeling hungry frequently and also start gaining weight.
In the fifth month mainly all the problems vanish and you start enjoying your pregnancy. Constipation is one of the problems in fifth month so drink lots of water. Now an ultrasound is done to see the baby and now the doctor can tell you whether the baby is a boy or girl.
In sixth month the baby begins to move up and down and also rolls. Take rest, as there could be back pain due to extra weight you are carrying.
Third Trimester
Third semester starts with seventh month. Baby starts to kick fast. You could experience leg cramps due to deficiency of calcium.
In eight month you start feeling uneasy. Heartburn, indigestion and shortness of breath are felt because the baby becomes big and disturbs your other organs.
Now comes the last month. You are now ready to give birth to your baby. The head of the baby drops in your pelvic area. You could feel urge of frequent urination. Any time in this month mucus may leak and this means that you are in labor.
