Treat Sunburn Effectively

Sunburn is a common problem in extreme summer months, especially for those who have sensitive skin. Common signs of sunburn include nausea, vomiting, black patches on skin, chills, fever and other flu like symptoms.
Occurrence of blisters is yet another issue with sunburn victims. Some people do a blunder of having a warm shower to treat sunburn. This only makes things worse. The blisters may erupt and the open skin forms a firm grounding for severe infection.
Effective home remedies, as given follows, must be used to treat sunburn.
-Apply coconut oil to your entire body after night bath, right before going to sleep. This will strengthen skin to guard against possible sunburn. Coconut oil will also work significantly in healing sunburns.
-You may prepare a mixture of vinegar and cold water by taking equal quantities of both and use topically on the sunburns.
-Application of freshly cut cucumber slice or potato on sunburn may give instant relief from burning sensation.
-For skin that has been severely damaged with sunburn, use buttermilk and tomato juice in 6:1 ratio on the area to be treated. Let it remain for 30 minutes then wash with fresh water.
-Aloe vera juice and pulp has tremendous healing properties.
-Drinking of aloe vera juice will help body from inside. The juice and pulp can be directed applied on the damaged skin for speedy healing.
-To remove marks of sunburn mix equal quantities of honey, lay juice a cucumber juice. Apply this mixture on skin and scrub on using lemon peels. Scrub entry for 10 minutes and let the mixture work for 30 minutes. It is better to do this remedy before bathing. Additionally, this mixture helps in lightening the skin tone.
-Sandalwood and fuller`s earth have incredible cooling [properties. The burning sensation of sunburn can be calmed using a smooth paste of sandalwood and rose water. Fuller`s earth, mixed with glycerin and rose water does the same work.
-Drinking water is absolutely important to avoid nausea and vomiting due to sunburn. Cold, but not chilled, herbal drinks help in maintaining good blood circulation and provide energy.
