Shampooing is the best way to wash the dirt out from the hair. The type of shampoo to be used depends upon the quality of your hair. People having dry hair should use egg-based shampoos or oil based ones.
For oily hair type, one should go in for milder variety of shampoos. Do not over massage the shampoo or else it will make your hair even drier.
After shampooing, it is necessary to do conditioning of your hair. It is more important for dry hair as it provides shine, bounce and natural oil to the hair. Egg white, henna and curd are said to be the natural sources of conditioning to the hair.
Apply coconut oil to the hair regularly and massage gently to the scalp. It aids in the growth of the hair and helps to treat dandruff. For dry hair apply castor oil instead of coconut oil.
To make your hair look shiny soak some fenugreek seeds in curd overnight, apply in the morning to your hair scalp and then wash off. For a quick shine to your hair add lemon juice to the last mug of water to the hair.
Hair fall has become a common problem nowadays. To keep away from this problem, do not shampoo you hair on a daily basis as overdoing makes the hair brittle and hence they break easily. Also applying oil to the hair atleast twice a week is necessary for any type of hair.
Take a diet high in protein and iron for healthy hair growth. Do not use artificial things on hair. Colouring, rebounding, applying sprays or even perming the hair has very bad effects. These make hair break easily, make them dry and causes graying of hair too.
