Tips for Eye Make-Up

Many of us are fascinated with the colorful and bold use of strokes on eyes. Here is what you essentially need to know for before you start your eye make-up.
Figuring out the shape of your eyes is the principle step to choose a type of make-up.
For small eyes, you will want to extend the length of the eyes. Pluck you eyebrows in such a manner that it you have maximum eye area.
Using right amount of colour at right places you can make your eyes look sharper. While applying the eye shadow extend in towards the end of the eye brows.
Use darker shade near the eye lid and spread it out using lighter shade of the same colour. For larger eyes dark shade like purple and maroons can be used.
The application of eye shadow also depends on if the skin around the eye is firmer or not.
For example, winged application looks best on younger, tighter skin. If you have thin eye lashes then apply 2 coats of mascara.
Apply the second coat once the first one has been dried. There should be just one stroke of eye liner or kraal to avoid any over lining.
Before application of eye make-up it would be better if you apply a moisturized concealed with third finger.
This will help in better application and removal of the make-up. For day make up use lighter shades of eye make-up and darker and heavier make–up for evenings. Brown is one shade of eye shadow that can never go wrong.
A must tip to remember while doing eye make–up is to never rub the nearby skin rigorously. The skin around the eye is very sensitive.
In order to remove eye makeup, use a moisturizes and not jus a cotton dipped water. Prefereably, use almond oil to remove the eye make up.
