Symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis is disease of the central nervous system. It is rare and occurs due to  genetic causes. The symptoms start to appear any time of the live. The most possible time is onset between the age of 20 and 40.

Some cases show very unpredictable and difficult onset of the disease other is already living without quite realizing it.

Some of the earliest symptoms that can be felt include having blurred vision, double vision may appear.

Problem of double vision are also noticed. One feels week in limbs. There may be sudden case of paralysis. Frequent numbness of muscles is another form of early symptoms.

As the diseases progresses and tries to catch hold of each organ one by one, more serious symptoms occur.

Feeling of excess fatigue due to increased weakness of muscles occurs. It disturbs the obvious well being of the patent. It increases during afternoon and may persist during the evening in severe cases.

Muscle spasms occur and lead to difficulty in normal movements. Muscle spasms most possibly affect muscles of legs and arms. Patients tend to become sensitive towards heat. The symptoms aggravate when they take hot shower or become physically in contact with hot things.

Since this disease affects all organs, the action of thinking is also disrupted. They simply cannot carry on their daily tasks.

One of the worst symptoms of multiple sclerosis is that the patient may experience abnormal sensations in their body. They may feel being needled, pinned or stabbed.

Although, these symptoms are not life-threatening, they disturb the patient mentally. These symptoms can be treated with medication. Swallowing problem is yet another difficult symptom. Few patients report to have problems in speaking.

Symptoms of tremors are both difficult to treat and as to bear. Natural therapies such as massages and Yoga have certainly helped patients of multiple sclerosis to add years to their life and ease their problems.
