Special Vitamins That Are Less Famous
There are certain vitamins which are equally, or even more, powerful than the regular vitamins. These include vitamin T, vitamin P, vitamin F, biotin, vitamin U and inosital. Let us try to understand what they have to offer.
Inosital
Inosital is responsible to maintain proper functioning of cell membranes of nervous system, intestine, optical system and bone marrow. It is found to be beneficial in preventing breast lumps and in maintaining optimal levels of estrogen in women.
If one consumes more than two cups of coffee every day then they need to take supplementation of inosital. Those who have been consuming antibiotics since long too need to take the supplement.
Deficiency of inosital is reflected by occurrence of sudden raised cholesterol, hair loss, constipation or eczema.
The vitamin can be found in liver, brown rice, bananas, wheat germ and oat flakes.
Vitamin P
Vitamin P is a recently discovered vitamin which usually accompanies vitamin C. This vitamin performs the function of improving absorption of vitamin C in the body. It seems to perform the same function as vitamin C. Example, working as a powerful antioxidant. This bioflavonoid is found in liberal amounts in black grapes.
Vitamin T
Vitamin T is better known as the “sesame seed factor†and it is so rare that it has no supplements are available in market. It is found in sesame seed. The paste of the seed is available in the market.
This vitamin has shown to strengthen the red blood cells and is thus said to be a strong ingredient to help in prevention against RBC related abnormabilities.
Vitamin U
Likewise vitamin U is found in raw cabbage and has no supplements available in market. The vitamin is extremely helpful in treating ulcers and skin related problems.
Biotin
Biotin is essentially required by pregnant women and lactating mothers. Supplements of biotin must be taken by those who are on a low-calorie diet. The biotin works best in presence of sulphur and vitamin C. It is found in dairy products¸ meats, brewer`s yeast, whole wheat bread, pig`s kidney and nuts.
Vitamin F
Vitamin F is composed of two fatty acids- linoleic acid and alpha linolenic acid. They are responsible for proper functioning of immune system and balancing of hormones in the body.
Oily fish such as sardines are rich source of vitamin F.
