Safe Herbs For Seasonal Cough And Cold

Seasonal cough and cold seem to worsen with age. One way, your immunity starts to deplete with ageing and on the other hand there is something you really want to do something about this.

Well, a little help from the herbs might prove to be fruitful and refreshing, for a change from regular medication. Haldi or Turmeric contains curcumin. Curcumin gives it the yellow colour and is enriched with anti-inflammatory action.

The Platlet activation Factor or PAF initiate and aggravate the condition of cough and cold, especially in asthma patients. Ginkgo alone can suppress PAF and provide expulsion of the infection.

Green tea, Ephedra and Hyssop Tea all open bronchial pathway for better exchange of gases. The seasonal allergies that lead to asthma can be treated by drinking ginger tea  twice daily.
