Removing Unwanted Hair From Face
Unwanted hairs are not just on legs and arms but they also occur on face. We are talking about those extra hairs on eye brows and above the upper lip. There are several ways to remove these unwanted hairs.
Threading
Threading can be done at home. You will need a thick white thread, some talcum powder, cotton and astringent. There are two ways in with the thread can be used to remove the hair.
If the procedure is performed by someone else then bite on to the tip of the thread and make 2 to 3 holds of the thread around the four fingers of the right hand (in case of a right handed person).
Hold the thread ball with the left hand or allow it to roll down freely. Place the thread that has been rolled on the right hand on the area from which the hair is to be removed. Pull the hairs out by pulling the thread upwards and outwards with the mouth.
The second way is simpler one. This method helps you remove hair yourself. Break thread such that it is about 20 cms in length. Tie the ends of the thread. Make few curls on the right hand.
Place the left portion of the thread on the area from where the hairs are to be removed. Pull out the hair by expanding the right portion of the thread while opening the fingers of the right hand.
Before doing threading apply some talcum powder on that area with cotton to remove any moisture.
Once done with the threading apply small amount of astringent. Use of astringent is extremely important since it allows the pores of the skin (from which hair have been removed) to close.
Natural Bleach
Mixture of sugar and lemon juice acts as natural bleach. Apply the sticky mixture, prepared by taking sugar and lemon juice in equal quantity, on the face and neck region. Wait for 15 to 20 minutes before washing off with warm water.
Tweezers
Though it has a bad reputation but tweezers can be used to remove those hairs which the thread is unable to put out. Regular use of tweezers may cause blemishes in the area.
