Remove Acne Marks and Other Pigmentation
Acne marks are often stubborn and they take their own sweet time in going away. Yet, they can be reduced and even removed completely by using the following of the remedies.
Natural Bleaches
Mash potatoes and squeeze out their juice. Apply this on the marks and leave for 15 to 20 minutes. You may mix small amounts of honey if your skin is dry. Potato juice is extremely useful in reducing all type of pigmentation.
You may even grate a potato and apply the mass as a face mask by mixing it with Fuller`s earth and rose water. Squeeze out a fresh lemon and mix with a few drops of sweet almonds oil. Apply the mixture all over your face. Scrub the mixture into the skin using the peels of the lemon. Scrub continuously for 5 to 6 minutes. Leave for 15 minutes then wash with water. You can even prepare a night lotion for removing the marks. Night lotion will help considerably because cells of the skin rejuvenate during sleep.
Grate cucumber and squeeze out its juice. Likewise, squeeze out juice of lemon. Take them in equal quantities and mix. Add same quantity of honey to this mixture. Do not add honey if you are having pimples. Apply liberal amount of this mixture all over your face and neck region every night.
Application of raw cow`s milk for 10 to 15 minutes is extremely helpful in reducing pigmentation and marks. Crush leaves of mint and apply it on your face. Add small amount of honey if you have a dry skin. Cut a ripe tomato and scrub the juice gently on your skin. These remedies should be done at least 2 times in a week for over 2 months to see results.
Diet and Detoxification
A diet that is rich in protein, fiber and antioxidants like vitamin A, E or C is extremely helpful in reducing all types of scars and marks. Foods that nourish skin are strawberries, raspberries, oranges, mangoes, mangosteen, yogurt, broccoli, lettuce and carrots.
Body detoxification not just helps in removing toxins and wastes from the body but it helps in reducing marks. Drink spinach juice by adding a pinch of black pepper powder. Aloe vera juice and herbal teas are extremely helpful.
