Remedies For Eye Care

Increased focus on computers, decreased nutritional diets, decreased sleeping hours and ever growing risks of life-style diseases have further dig up chances of eye problems. But the best thing is that, if taken proper care before hand, one may be able to avoid situations of surgery and long term treatments.

Note down these effective home remedies for common eye problems. Weak eyes are characterized by those eyes which get tired very easily. The symptoms include suffering from short-sightedness or long-sightedness. Such eyes often also have some dark circles. There may be occasional headaches due to over-excursion of eyes.

One simple daily remedy is washing eyes with fresh water regularly. Rub hands against each other and apply the warm generated immediately to the eyes. The muscles of the eyes will get much relaxation. On daily basis, any time of the day, you can mix cardamom seeds with one tablespoon of honey and consume.

Follow this remedy for one month. Take a flamed candle and concentrate daily on it time as comfortable to you. You may also take raw sugar, aniseeds, and one cup of almonds. Grind them together and divide in 40 equal doses. Take each dose each day. See the results for yourself. It is a good remedy to be tried in winters as it provides body with warmth.

Blood shot eyes is a common problem in summers. Simply dip in cotton ball in rose water or chilled aloe Vera water and apply each ball to eyes. You may even slice cold cucumber into thin slices and keep for 10-15 minutes on each eye. Chilled potatoes slices are also an effective remedy.

People who have continuous blood shot eye problem should take one cup of milk and boil in it 3 figs and 8-9 raisins. It must be drunk daily for atleast 30 days to remove the problem.
