Exercises
Women who are used to carrying weight can use a 2 kg dumb bell. Stand straight. Hold the dumb bell in one arm and keep the arms rested to your sides. Slowly raise the arm outwards away from the side of the body.
Raise the arms above the head and maintain the position for few seconds. Slowly come back to the neutral position.
Make sure your back is straight while doing this exercise. In case of a regular back ache problem do not repeat it. If you experience severe pain in any part of body while raising weight discontinue it immediately.
Most of the aerobic movements help in reducing weight from arms. Yoga asana of twist is a simple yet great way of toning the muscles. Stand straight with your feet shoulder distance apart.
Raise your arms in front of you, at shoulder level. Twist to the right side then come to neutral position, then twist to left side. Repeat this cycle for 10 to 15 times with a little pace.
Alternative Ways
You may massage your arms in upward strokes with any of the body oils. This helps toning of the muscles. With age, the skin on the arms starts to sag down. Regular massage helps in maintaining firmness of these body parts.
