Reduce Belly Fat
Belly is one region one just cannot bear the burden of extra pounds. People with a larger belly suffer greater discomfort in performing simple activities like bending forward, climbing stairs, etc.Here are some simple things that can be done in daily life that can reduce the belly.
Habits
Instead of eating on a dining table try sitting on a floor to consume food. Since you will have to bend forward to consume the food it will give you an idea when to stop eating. This will prevent you from eating extra.
Some traditional health care system suggests that one must not touch stomach with hand after eating food. The stomach should neither be caressed nor stroked.
One must not drink water while consuming meals. It puts pressure on the belly. Try drinking water either 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after eating the meal.
Best Exercises
Lie down flat on the floor, on the back. Keep hands straight. Keep hands behind the ears and bend upper body forward to touch the toes with finger tips. Count till 1 then slowly come back to the original position. Breathe inwards.
The second exercise is to lie down on the floor and keep feet parallel to each other. Raise the legs upwards such that the legs are perpendicular to the upper body. Maintain this position by counting till 10. Come back to the original position.
The third exercise is to reduce the lower belly mainly. Lie down on the ground and keep legs straight. Fold right leg and bring it towards the stomach. Press with hand by holding the leg against the stomach. Wait and count till 10. Repeat it with left leg.
One of the best exercises to reduce belly is by cycling while lying down on the floor.
Role of Nutrition
There are certain foods which act as fat burners. These foods help in burning the fat of the body. Early morning consumption of lime juice with 1 tbsp of honey dissolves the fat such that it is eliminated through urine.
Similar benefits can be achieved by consuming freshly peeled piece of garlic with some warm water.
Foods like lettuce, broccoli, eggplant, mangosteen, mangoes, blueberries, brown rice, cucumber, spinach and apple are powerful fat burners.
