Monsoon skin care could be a little tricky, especially for those who have oily skin. The humidity makes the skin appear stranger and you may wonder what you can possibly do to bring back glow on your face.

Additionally, it is not just your face that you need to worry about. Monsoon season brings with it the season of skin infections like as athlete`s foot. Here are a few tips to deal with humidity problem with which even dry skin will have to bear.

Keep Skin Clean

It is important to keep skin clean in order to stay away from fungal infections. Take a bath every time you reach home drenched. Make sure you do not remain in the wet clothes for a longer time. Keep an extra set of clothing at your office just in case you get soaked in rain water.

Change your foot wear too if it is wet.

If you cannot take a bath because of feeling cold then take a hot bath. This is especially important to for those who suffer from itches and rashes during this season.

Keep Skin Dry

Use a good quality talcum powder that helps in soaking excess sweat from the body. Apply liberal amounts of anti-bacterial powder to the inner thighs and armpits.

Pat dry well your skin after taking bath. Keep dry wipes with you in your bag always, just in need.

Face Masks

You will need to apply such face packs which help in retaining moisture of the skin without making it look oily. The best in the list is Fuller`s earth. The powder can be used almost daily as a face wash. A paste can be prepared using the powder, honey and cucumber juice and applied on the face.

Dealing with the Tan

Wet skin gets tanned more easily. Most of the cities across the globe experience a sudden rain pour followed by sudden exposure to sun rays. You will need to wear a sun screen that is waterproof in order to deal with this problem.

A home remedy such as that of scrubbing the lemon peels on the skin which has been moisturized with honey is very helpful.
