Dietary Changes

Black cohosh works well to relieve hot flushes, mood swings and vaginal thinning. Take half tbsp of the herb twice every day for 3 months regularly. Do not exceed the daily dose.

To improve functioning of adrenal glands Siberian ginseng is great. Take 250 mg of ginseng supplement or drink half tbsp of ginseng extract daily for 3 month. But if you are a patient of hypertension then consult your physician before taking any type of ginseng.

Especially for Hot Flushes

Prepare an herbal tea using 2 tbsp of dried sage in 250 ml of water and drink as required throughout the day. This remedy helps in reducing perspiration greatly.

You can even prepare facial spray to cool down hot flushes. Mix 10 drops of lavender essential oil in 125 ml of rose water. Store it in a spray bottle. Shake well before use.
