Mature skin care and make-up

October 3, 2008

With every decade passing our skin develops changes. Mature skin requires special skin care. Accordingly the make-up also varies. Everyone deserves to look good at all ages. Some quick tips and you will be all set. This is how it should be.

First is your skin. With age your skin loses its elasticity and tends to become dry. Cream based moisturizers should be used two times a day. One is in morning and second is before going to bed. Always use standard products.

For eyes, darker make-up on eyes should avoid. It makes make the lines and the wrinkles prominent. The eyes also appear droopy. Therefore use lighter shade for eye shadow. Instead of using an eye liner, use an eye pencil. This will make your eyes look softer. In order to beautify your eyelashes and brows, use brown colored mascara instead of black. This is due to the fact that with age the eyelashes and brows tend to get thinner. By using brown mascara you will be able to enhance them without high lightening them much.

Your lips would appear more beautified with colours like brown and pinks. Deep maroons would look artificial. Usage of matte to do lip finishing is a better option to the glossies. Hair must be given a lot of importance as they tend to reflect the years very precisely. If you get your hair colored then get them done on regular basis. Choose a colour that suits you. At this age, you obviously cannot go for pink shades. Graceful shades of black, burgundy and subtle browns that suit your complexion would be just perfect.

Now, it is all about your attitude. A positive attitude and a smiling face would just make you look younger the way even make-up can`t do.  Clothing is equally important to suit your personality. Discovering each day what brings the best out in you is all together a great thing. Go on. Explore yourself.
