Mangosteen has its origin from South-east Asian. Known as the Queen of fruits, this fruit is well known for its traditional heeling benefits. A tree needs to be twelve years old to bear fruits. More mature the tree, better the fruits. There are several species of mangosteen available but Garcinia mangostana is most widely used.

Mangosteen is available in many forms for consumption. The simplest way could be to open the fruit and scrap out of the pulp. The pulp is white and juicy and it tastes different. The real method to using mangosteen tea in the best possibly way is make a home made mangosteen tea. You may slice the rind and let it remain in hot water overnight. This may be drunk in morning as tea.
