Male Hormonal Imbalance is Serious

Men are increasingly becoming estrogen dependent. Yes, you read it right! The male hormone testosterone decreases with advancing age. But this episode is what occurs naturally.

What has staring to occur in the 20th century is called Hormonal imbalance in men. The environmental factors are to be blamed, for one. The petroleum related products that are infused into the environments are absorbed by the body.

These compounds decrease the ratio of testosterone to estrogen in a male. These compounds are better known as Xenoestrogens. They are, as you know, present everywhere! They are part of fuels, cloths, pesticides, mosquito spray and also in products used for personal care.

Xenoestrogens work as estrogen hormone and are used in dairy to increase size of the meat and also to promote egg formation.

Therefore, by consuming non-vegetarian diet, we may be actually ingesting unwanted hormones. Since all these series of events cause decline of androgen in a male body, andropause proceeds.

This is where the hormone estrogen takes the lead. If going by the charts, the natural decline of male hormone starts at the age of 35. It is at peak levels by the 20s, i.e. 1000 to 2000 ng/dl.

Decline of testosterone gives rise to increased problems such as inability to perform sex, Impotency, Fatigue. Currently, 50% of men are already having the risk of developing enlarged prostate. Rapid increase in weight, too much stress and depressive feeling are other symptoms of declining testosterone. Other serious symptoms include Diabetes, development of allergies and Osteoporosis.

In order to maintain a healthy life-style to prevent such a health disaster, trying to eat more organic or herbal options would  help. So does regular exercising which would maintain optimal functioning of the endocrine system.

Natural detoxifying diets may be followed on weekly basis. Male hormonal testing equipments are available in market. One may purchase that and keep track of the hormones at home.
