Lip Care

October 21, 2008

Lips, lust, love, lullaby; how many emotions are expressed through unidentified movements of lips. Biologically, they are essential for protection of the mouth and aid in speech. So, refer to the following lip care.

Nevertheless, lips find more talking in the world of beauty than in the medical text book. Everyone desires to get supple fuller lips that one would die to kiss. But if only caring for these lips could be that easy. Well, it is, using simple home remedies for better lips.

One important thing to know is, like our skin, dead layer of skin covers lips also. It is therefore important to remove this layer first to receive fresh pink skin. Be gentle with your lips. Make a mixture of sugar grains in coconut oil or sweet almond oil and gently rub on the entire lips. Do this for 5 mins and then wash off.

Apply a lip balm or malai and let it work for some time. In order to make fuller pink lips, do this. Prepare a mixture of equal quantities of honey, sweet almond oil and lemon juice in a small bottle. Apply this thickly on your lips for night. See the difference the very next morning.

Regular application of saliva through tongue worsens the appearance of lips. For some, this is one of the major causes of blacker lips. Instead, whenever you feel like applying saliva on your lips, apply some moisturizing lip balm instead. Women smokers often have darker lips. So just quit smoking.

Lips also are reflection of your good health. People suffering from Anemia too have lighter shaded and less supple lips. If you are eating a balanced diet then you might never face a bad lip problem at all. Including food that contains Vitamin A, E, B-carotene like carrots, strawberries, tomatoes, etc must be eaten daily on regular basis.
