Lip Care Remedies

Beautiful and well moisturized lips are what every woman wants to have as one of the biggest asset. But seasonal changes, fake products and excess licking of lips may take away natural oils of the lips.

It is important to note that it is easier to have chapped, dried lips and much tougher to rejuvenate natural lip texture. Drink lots of water. It provides hydration t the lips. This is to be remembered, especially during winters to drink in water up to at least 8 glasses. Winter care of lips includes application of thick wax based balms. At night you may apply thick honey.

Honey or glycerin work as best moisturizing agents. The lip balms for summers must contain SPF of at least 15. Get rid of the habit of licking or biting of the lips. This worsens the condition of the lips. The lips become darker in shade, dry and thinner. Instead of licking lips frequently as a response to hydrate them, use lip balm whenever required.

Vitamins and minerals play important role in appearance of beautiful lips. In absence of vitamins like B complex, the lips loose their hydration and tend to crack at the corners. Iron and essential fatty acids are also required. Therefore it becomes very important that we eat a healthy nutritional diet. A lot of people have been found to be allergic to mouth washes and toothpastes. You need to know the cause of your bad lip condition. You may try a thousand things and still may see no visible results due to unknowing of the factor.

Many home remedies are available that may help you with lip care. Simply apply on butter milk at night. Prepare neem paste at home and directly apply. Keep for few minutes then wash off.  You may even apply aloe Vera gels and let it work overnight. Lip tissues are very sensitive so once damaged may take a lot of time to revitalize.
