Keep Yourself Alert Day Long
The weather is heating up and the work load remains ever the same. Heat, the stress can wreck the harmony of your brain and leave you drained. Keeping your brain active could never get simpler than this.
Keep yourself hydrated. The reason behind this is to keep the circulatory system functioning. This is done by drinking lots and lots of water. If you can`t keep a count, make a habit of drinking one glass of water every hour. Do not drink much water before 2 hours of going to sleep. This will disturb your sleep for micturation.
Substitute your regular tea and coffee with herbal teas like green tea. These rejuvenate the nervous system and improve alertness. Also, there is not added guilt of gulping down unwanted caffeine and sugar.
Wash your face with cold water whenever you feel done. Keep eyes open. This will provide instant alertness and refresh you. Often, afternoon hours, post lunch tends to lower our energies. If you cannot splash water across face then use cold face wipes on face and neck regions.
During heat the afternoon will seriously be responsible for your alertness or fatigue. Try to eat cold salads and fruits. If that seems difficult then choose only vegetables to eat, avoiding rice and carbohydrates.
After lunch, do not immediately go back to work. Do some chit-chat with fellows or climb office stars up and down. Change in environment always helps in increasing efficiency at work.
Supplementation is the most crucial part about keeping healthy and alert. Your daily supplementation must include vitamin C, E, A and the entire B complex family. How well you feel from inside would reflect outside and for that you need nutrition. Supplementation would cover up any nutrients that you have missed during that day.
30-45 minutes of brisk walking or any type of work out can do amazing things for your energy levels.
