According to a research during 1970s, decreased consumption of butter has increased risk for the Americans to develop diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and obesity. The butter has more health benefits than just one. In certain traditions, it is used to beautify self. Here is a peep into the healthy world of the butter.

Butter is source of many vitamins and minerals. The vitamin D found in the butter is known to strengthen bones and muscles of the body. Additionally, this vitamin helps in better absorption of calcium. Butter is a good source of vitamin E and K. The selenium and iodine found in the butter, all these vitamins, and other nutrients work are powerful antioxidants to fight free radicals in the body.

The lauric acid present the butter has antifungal properties and is used to treat Candida (a skin infection). Contrary to many beliefs, butter actually has certain chemicals which prevent hardening of the arteries.

In women, it promotes fertility and helps in relieving menstrual cramps during. Butter is immensely important for a woman who is expecting a baby. If research is to be followed strictly then a pregnant mother must consume 1 tbsp of butter everyday in order for healthier brain and bones of the child. Butter help in preventing GIT infections elderly.

Butter also provides tremendous amounts of energy. So make sure you are leading physical active life. Butter is said to lubricate the entire body and it boosts the production of sperms in men. Butter also helps in preventing vaginal dryness in women.

It is best to eat the butter raw than in a fried form. If you repeatedly fry the same butter again and again, the chemicals become unhealthy for consumption. Try to add butter on the top of the meals. You may put a spoon in your salads or relish them simply with brown bread.

Homemade butter is the best butter. Otherwise, choose a marketed preparation that has been prepared only form animals that are fed grass.
