Improve your Eyesight
It is true that prevention is better than cure. Therefore it become very important to maintain good health of eyes before it is too late.
Eyes carry very sensitive tissue and are prone to be harmed by excess sun light, decreased sleeping hours, cheap make-up products and over usage of eyes. Three basic things are essentially important as simple remedies to improve eyesight.
These are good nutrition, proper rest and special remedies. Vitamin A is essential for good health of eyes. It can be obtained from milk cream, butter, cheese, fresh tomatoes, soya beans, oranges and dates.
Including diets which are rich in vitamin A, along with vitamin B complex, C and iron help in production of RBCs and enhance eye sight. Spinach is an excellent source of these nutrients. Eating an egg a day not just promotes eye sight but prevents you against possibility of cataract.
Eating carrots in form of salads provides nutrients like calcium, phosphorous, iodine and beta carotene. All these work well for the eyes. You may cut slices of cucumber and place each on eyes. The cooling effect relaxes the eye muscles. Drinking cucumber juice and blue berry juice also help.
Cucumber juice, in excess, causes loses motion. Blueberries are excellent sources of Vitamin A, copper, cobalt, vitamin C and B.
Take fennel seeds and grind them to prepare powder. Take 1 tsbp of this powder, mix with ½ tbsp of honey and consume daily.
While working of computers, take frequent breaks. One must blink eyes 20 times in a minute. This will keep the muscles healthy. Rub your hands against each other and apply the warmth generated on palms to your eyes.
Never rub your eyes no matter how much itching. You may splash fresh water in eyes as frequent as possible. Sleeping is the best therapy. Sleep for 8 hours everyday. It will naturally heal the eyes.
