How to Pluck Eyebrows Without Pain

May 22, 2009

Facial care is very important as facial beauty is the first thing that people notice about you. And you surely do not want to spoil your impression in the eyes of the other person as first impression is the last impression. So how do you capture the attention of people in just one look? The answer is taking proper care of your face, i.e. making it look fresh, vibrant and attractive as people will always like to see vibrant people and not dull people. There are many ways to beautify your face, but having properly trimmed eyebrows is one of the most important steps.

For proper eyebrow shape and size, it is necessary to pluck them properly. Eyebrow plucking can be done in many ways – either by using tweezers or by waxing. Waxing is a complex method which if not done properly can result in blisters and rashes on your skin making it look even worse. Comparatively, eyebrow plucking is a much simpler and easy to implement method. Also, you can pluck your eyebrows at home, thus preventing your dependence on a beauty expert. But eyebrow plucking is a painful process if not done correctly; so here are the ways in which you can pluck your eyebrows without pain.

First of all, you need to fix a time for eyebrow plucking. The best time to do this is at night, just before going to sleep as this will remove the reddishness that may occur during plucking. Once you have decided the time, take a shower before starting the process as this will open the pores of the skin surrounding the eyebrows making it easier to pluck them. After this apply some astringent or toothpaste to the area which is going to be plucked. This will make that area go numb and reduce the pain while plucking.

Now sit in front of a mirror and make sure there is enough lamination in the room. Pick up a pair of sharp tweezers and start plucking in the direction of hair growth. That is if you are plucking your left eyebrow, pull the hair in the left direction. Do not hurry while plucking the hair and if you experience any pain, hold on for some time and begin again. Once you have finished this process, wash your face with plain water. Apply some moisturizing lotion to the area where plucking was done. Now you may go to sleep. The next day in the morning you will be amazed at your new look.
