November 6, 2008

This leads to darker complexion and relatively harder skin texture of hands and feet. We give you some incredible homemade hand lotions. For feet, wait for our next article.

For hands ruined due to dish washing, take 2 parts of oil, one part of sugar and one part of salt. All ingredients taken in measurement of tbsp. Spread this on your hands and let it be for about five minutes.  See the results for yourself. For those hands that have been neglected since ages or are just dry and sore here is what you may do.

Take about ¾ of almond oil or apricot oil (whichever available), tsp of lanolin, 1/3 cup of cocoa butter. You may also take coconut oil in place of cocoa butter. Also take half oz of beeswax in grated form. At low heat, melt these all together and then let them cool at room temperature. Till the time these ingredients cool down, you may grab 1/3 cup of aloe Vera gel, about one –two drops of rose oil, 2-3 cup of rose water and contents of one Vitamin E capsule. Mix them. You may add these two set of ingredients and whip until a butter like consistency is obtained. Store this preparation in an air-tight jar and use as and when required.

If these full listed ingredients are troubling you then you may go in for simpler daily ready to use homemade solutions. The best ingredients are glycerin, honey, rose water, aloe Vera water, squeezed lemon juice, cucumber juice and lemon peels (after squeezing out the juice)

Make combinations using a moisturizing and a solvent. For example, mix in equal quantities of honey and rose water. Apply the mixture on hands and scrub using lemon peels. Keep your hands soft with these hand cream recipes.
