Herbal Treatment for Vaginal Dryness

There are some common problems that plague every woman at some stage in her life and vaginal dryness is one of them. This condition can make a woman nervous and irritating. The causes for vaginal dryness are many, but the main cause is decrease in the level of Oestrogen hormone. Now even when this condition troubles them, very few women go for medical treatments and consult doctors. Many women consider discussing this condition as a taboo and hence prefer to suffer than speak. Therefore, I am presenting some herbal remedies for curing vaginal dryness which can be implemented easily to get relief from this painful and irritating condition.

Drinking at least 10 glasses of water will keep your body hydrated and help in preventing dryness of the vagina. If drinking plain water is boring for you, then you can consume some juices or syrups, until they are in liquid form. You can make one healthy liquid drink at home by mixing 2 spoons of aloe vera gel with a glass of milk. Drinking this once in a day will provide good results. Aloe vera helps in keeping the female reproductive organs in proper condition by hydrating them.

If you are suffering from menopause, you should consider consuming fenugreek seeds along with water. Consuming a healthy diet that has corn, barley, rice and yoghurt on a regular basis will definitely help in reducing the pain during the dryness of vagina. Selected yoga exercises also play an important role in providing relief during those difficult days. Leg raises and certain yoga poses that concentrate on the lower body can be very beneficial as they help in making the pelvic muscles stronger, thus boosting the blood circulation and reducing the dryness.

Every woman should accept that when she is in her 40s, she will never feel the same way that she used to feel when she was in her 20s. Lot of things change with time and this is normal. So instead of suffering from conditions like vaginal dryness, it is better to seek proper medical attention. If you have any reservations in discussing about this, then follow the simple herbal remedies mentioned above and stay healthy and happy!
