Hair Masks at Home

Making hair masks at home can not get any easier than this. Moreover, it is the most cost effective method to rejuvenate life of your hair.

All you need to do is to realize what the condition for your hair is.

Based upon the condition, you may apply a home made hair mask as picked from the options below.

Hair masks work best when applied on clean hair. You may wash your hair and not apply the conditioner. If your hair is dry, simply mix in 2 tbsp of olive oil in 2 egg yolks and apply to your hair.

Let the ingredients work for at least one to two hours then wash away.

To remove smell of eggs from the hair you may apply lemon juice all over the hair, leave for 10 minutes then wash with water.

For shiny hair, mix in amla powder and curd to make an even paste and apply all over your hair. Wash after an hour. Do not use shampoo to wash. Only use fresh tap water.

Mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds may also be used to provide shine to the hair. Warm these seeds and crush them in a pestle motor.

Mix in warm coconut oil. Using a cotton ball apply evenly all over the hair focusing more on roots. Let it over overnight. Wash with your regulate mild shampoo completely.

If you are having trouble of dandruff lately, you may even mix 2 tbsp of lemon juice in this preparation. For oily hair, simply apply thick curd in your hair, covering even the ends.

Curd tends to tighten the pores of the scalp thereby moderating excess secretion of oil. For a nice fruit mark for your hair simply take a banana. Take half if your hair is shorter. Mix in quarter parts of avocado, 1 tbsp of curd and 1 tbsp of wheat germ oil. The mask needs two hours to work efficiently.
