Grow Hair Long And Strong

Long hair may be difficult to grow and manage but the trouble is worth it. None can argue the fact that those long, heavy hairs are desire of most of the women. Many magazines show how men love to see long mane of women. So, let us get started with how you can grow your hair long, strong and beautiful.

The first thing to remember is that it will take some time to grow so have patience. Hair can grow from half inch to 1 ½ inch every month. To grow hair long you will need to make the roots stronger, prevent hair fall and protect hair from any type of damage. This is how it can be done.

Prevent Hair Fall

Check your deficiency of vitamin C, E and A. Consume a diet rich in these vitamins or one can even supplement with these vitamins. Most of the accessories put pressure on the roots and pull those outwards. Avoid them.

Do not sleep with your hair left open. Continuous friction amongst the hair will cause hair breakage. Also, do not tie your hair too tightly.

Things to Remember

Avoid use of chemical shampoo and conditioners. Try washing hair with paste of shikakai and rinse hair with curd (natural conditioner).

Massage hair with almonds oil. It is great source of vitamin E and boosts growth considerably. Avoid use of curling irons or straightener. The heat damages the hair and causes split ends. It slows down growth of hair length. Try keeping your hair braided. This way your hair will have minimum damage.

Hair Masks for Growth

Hair mask is a great way to nourish the hair. These can be applied on weekend for 1 to 2 hours and washed with lukewarm water. Hair masks help in over all beautification of hair.

Soak amla powder in water overnight such that it appears as a thick paste. In morning add 1-2 tbsp of curd to it so that it appears as a smooth paste. Apply this all over your head.

Mix henna with water over night to make a thick paste. Add 2 tbsp of undiluted lemon juice. Lemon juice will prevent in providing color to the hair.
