Get Rid of Itching
Summers are approaching and a general skin problem to be observed would be itching. Itching is often resulting of sweaty areas which rub against each other. For example, between legs, waist line, below breast and arm pits.
The point of caution includes keeping hygiene during summers. Worse are cases of reddening which lead to peeling skin causing rashes. Putting talcum powder s recommended. Use talc which contains zinc and acts as anti-bacterial.
Those who know that they have this trouble every season must try to bath twice daily. They must use an anti-bacterial based soap. One can even take an oatmeal bath.
A simple home remedy is to prepare a paste of baking soda and water. It should be thick enough to stay on the affected areas. Then take a bath.
Application of lotion containing vitamin E or vitamin E oil is very helpful in itched skin. Aloe Vera also heals and provides cooling effect. Lemon juice alone causes burning sensation. Therefore use it with cod liver oil or wheat germ oil. The blisters must never be scratched.
Since heat increases itching multifold, try to avoid exposure to heat as much s possible. As much as possible, cotton clothes should be worn. Change your clothes if you feel very sweaty since this will only aggravate the condition.
One interesting remedy is to apply curd all over body after bathing. Keep for some time and then was off. It cools down any type of inflammation on the body.
Cinnamon powder is also helpful in treating blisters due to itching. You can mix cinnamon powder with honey and apply on the affected areas. Keep it for 15minutes then was off with fresh water.
Neem is yet another helpful home remedy. Soak lots of neem leaves on tub of water. Bath with this water. It gets rid of any possible bacteria and helps in healing of the skin.
