Fruit Masks For All Skin Types

Seasonal fruits are the best way to prepare fresh face packs. The fresh pulp contains rich antioxidants, especially vitamin E, which is absorbed topically to nourish the skin.

Also, they provide instant rejuvenation to the skin. The masks must be applied to cover the face, neck and ears. Here are fruit face masks for all skin types.

Fruit Masks for Normal Skin

Cook a peach until its interiors are soft enough (check with a fork). Add some honey and oatmeal so that a thick paste is produced. Apply this mask all over your face and let it work for at least 15 minutes. It will not dry. During winters, you should keep it for 20-30 minutes for maximum results.

Mask of sage and apples helps in decreasing wrinkles. Take one apple and remove its seeds. Crush it in a food processor to obtain smooth pulp. Add 2 tbsp of honey and half tbsp of sage powder. Let it work on fruit for 30 minutes then wash off with fresh water.

Papaya face mask helps in getting rid of tanned skin and removes dead cells. Take 4 tbsp of cosmetic clay and some ripe papaya. Add some aloe vera gel to prepare a smooth paste by mashing them together. Let the mask to work for 30 minutes.

Fruit Masks for Dry Skin

Easiest face mask for dry skin is of strawberry and honey. Crush ripe strawberries. Add honey and oatmeal to it to obtain a thick paste. Apply and leave it for 20-30 minutes. In stead of strawberry you may use an avocado, pear, nectarine or grapes. Do not use lemon or orange if your skin is too dry.

For extra dryness, add starch with any fruit (especially strawberry) and apply for 15-20 minutes.

Fruit Masks for Oily Skin

Crush contents of orange and apply directly on the skin. You may even apply watermelon water straight to your skin. Let them dry for 10 minutes then wash off.

Mash cucumber, add some cosmetic clay (or fuller`s earth) to it and apply on the face. Mask of equal quantities of eggs, olive oil ad oatmeal do wonders for oily skin.
