Sun tan is an everyday issue during summers. We are already aware how damaging rays of the skin can actually cause skin cancer. Therefore, it is essential to take care of the skin this summer.
Nevertheless, one cosmetic to be found in every bag is a sun screen lotion. The  SPF factor rule the degree of the preparation to fight any possible damage to the skin through sun.
But yet another controversy has shaken the usage of sun screens. It is a possibility that these sun screens can cause skin cancer and many other skin related problems.Therefore, it is best to stick with natural methods to protect your skin this summer.
If you are getting ready for the summer and are still not tanned, this remedy is just for you. Mash a raw tomato so as to extract pulp and juice. To this add 1 tbsp of lemon juice. Apply this mixture to your all exposed parts. Use peels of tomato to gentle rub mixture into the skin. Keep it for 15 mins and then take your bath. Daily use protects you from any form of skin damage by sun.
If you already have started getting tanned, then mix 4 tbsp of rice flour in 2 tbsp of curd to make a smooth paste. Apply it on affected area for 30 minutes then take bath. If you have oily skin does not use this remedy. The alternative is to mix pure honey in rose water and some drops of lemon juice. Apply it all over the body after bathing. Keep for 10 mins and wash off if just water.
Although lemon is great natural bleach but it must never be used alone. This is because it makes the skin more photosensitive. This way the skin gets easily tanned within few minutes of exposure to sun. Drinking lots of water will helps body detoxify better and provide rejuvenation of entire system including skin.
