Firm Skin In Five Steps

Beautiful skin which is blemish free and wrinkle free can be achieved by following these simple steps.

Step 1

Recognize your skin type and follow cleansing, toning and moisturizing every day. Even if you have oily skin you must not rub your skin vigorously with cotton. Application of cleanser, toner or moisturizer must be done only in upward and circular strokes.

Cleansing milk is a good option for oily skin. Multani mitti is a great daily skin cleanser for all skin types.

Step 2

Do not compromise with product quality. Do not use products that contain alchohol. Such products often cause darkening of the skin and reduce moisture. Use products that contain zinc, benzoyl peroxide and beauty vitamins like E and A. The product should be used only according to the skin type.

Step 3

Eat healthy and stay away from excess sugary or salty foods. A diet rich in antioxidants, fibers and proteins is vital for skin nourishment. Vitamin E, A and C are essential for skin repair and rejuvenation. Vitamin C is helps in building of the skin collagen which makes the skin look firm and healthy. Vitamin E and A aid in re-growth of cells.

Daily supplementation of these vitamins nourishes the skin and helps in dealing with skin challenges like ageing and pollution. Drink enough water to eliminate body toxins.

Step 4

Exercise improves blood circulation and improves supply of oxygen to each cell of the body. Facial yoga is extremely helpful. One such exercise is to fill air inside the mouth and block nostrils with each thumb.

Feel the tightness of air inside the mouth. Wait for 10-15 seconds then slowly release the air through nostrils. Do this 5 times every day.

Step 5

Face packs must be applied once every week. Egg yolk and honey is a good mixture for dry skin. Papaya pulp, curd and sandalwood face packs are very useful for dry skin. Pulp of almonds mixed with milk cream and rose water removes dryness of skin.

Oily skin can be nourished by applying freshly grated cucumber. Mixture of lemon juice and rose water are good for clearing oily skin layer. Fuller`s earth mixed with sandalwood powder and rose water absorbs oil from the skin.
