Dealing with Daily Headache

Are you someone who faces headaches almost every day? Do you need to take a pill almost daily to get rid of a headache? Chances are high that you are dealing with stress related headaches if not some form of tumor, high blood pressure or meningitis. Let us know how to deal with them.

Recognizing the Root Cause

Is it the work at office or a troubled relationship that is giving you headache or is it just physical exhaustion? Is it acidity, sinusitis, indigestion, lack of enough sleep or anemia?

Once you are able to identify the cause of your headache it will become easier for you to deal with it.

Avoid the causative factor. If that is not possible then find a remedy that always works for you. For example, there are many people who have to deal with too much of work load on daily basis. They often have to work for long hours and get to sleep for fewer hours. Under such circumstances, eating healthy and staying fit are the best solutions to deal with exhaustion and hence the headaches.

Home Remedies

Open your hair and comb them. This will increase circulation of the scalp and hence help in reducing stress. You may even pour tap water directly to your scalp in order to improve circulation and reduce heating effects of the sun. The remedy is extremely helpful for people who commonly have headaches due to heat of the sun.

Headache could be localized or could spread to the neck region or the upper back. Some even experience a pulsating pain in either of the shoulder bones. Gentle massage of the herbal oils on the area is very useful. Lavender oil is a gentle analgesic and its use calms the senses and helps the mind to relax. For the same reason the bathing soaps and solutions which carry lavender essence can be used every day for relaxation.

Drinking herbal teas is the easiest way of getting rid of the headaches. Whether you are having just a heavy head or you have minor pain in the entire head simply sip herbal teas made out of herbs like chamomile, lime blossom, peppermint and rosemary.
