Dangers of Overweight

Excess weight can lead to obesity, a disease, and be an invitation for many other diseases to run parallel.

The simple philosophy is that unless someone wants to die early they should not lose weight.

The problem of the “apple” shaped body is that it neither looks good and it puts a lot of pressure on the organs to maintain the shape.

The person gets fat, the organs remain the same. This increases the burden on the biological system and hence starts the problem. With every I kg gain, 3 kilo meter long blood vessel develop.

Imagine the extra load on the heart to maintain the circulation through the added vessels due to weight gain. Thus occurs the risk of development of series of cardiovascular problems. These include stroke, blood pressure, ischemia and atherosclerosis.

The kidneys feel the burden  work harder. Consequently, the development of Diabetes may occur. The much unneeded pressure is on the muscular system. The knee joints are the maximum sufferers. Cases of arthritis and Osteoporosis with seem in 90 % of people who are over weight.

Another health problem is disturbance in the respiratory system.
Apnea, the condition in which person is unable to breathe comfortably, may occur. Apart for these serious let conditions,
the general ability to live life decreases.

One gets tired easily and has decreased concentration and ability to work for longer hours. Obesity may also lead to infertility in men and inability for the women to conceive.

According to studies, cancer is more common in women who are overweight and who do not optimal workout regime. With so much of awareness about health it becomes more obvious that once must know their family health history and accordingly takes good acre of them.

Since most of the energy of the body goes in maintaining the “shape”, the body has lesser energy and even lesser nutrients for rejuvenation of the system. Hence the line, lose weight until you want to die early.
