Like face, there are packs for eyes too. These packs will never dry the area around your eyes. Crush cucumber and apply the pulp to your eyes. Cover them completely by placing cotton over them. Keep eyes closed for 10 minutes then remove the pulp by using the cotton. You may even apply cold mashed potatoes.

Mash ripe papaya and add 2 drops of almonds oil. Apply on the eyes and around its area.  Remove after 10 minutes and wash with tap water.

Eye Massage

Use ring finger for this purpose. The ring finger will apply least of the pressure on the eyes. The middle finger will apply maximum pressure increasing tendency of wrinkles and skin abrasion.

Take 2-3 drops of olive, sweet almond oil or coconut oil and massage gently around the eyes. Dab a little on the eyelids. This will improve circulation of the eye. Long term benefits include prevention against drying of the eyes, glaucoma and weak eye sight.

Massage should always be done slowly with a little pressure only.

Eye Exercises

Palming is the most common eye exercise. Rub your hands against each other unless heat is produced due to friction. It is important to apply it on the eyes immediately. Do this 10 to 15 times.

Close eyes and see right side, then see left side; without moving the neck. Do this slowly. Repeat for 15 to 20 times.

One may also try to roll eyes clockwise first and then anticlockwise.

These exercises can be repeated as often as one wants. These are especially helpful in dealing with eyes stressed due to computer.

For Stronger Eyes

Take a paste of cardamom seeds (1 tbsp) and mix 1 tbsp of honey. Consume empty stomach early morning.

Mix 1 tbsp of gooseberry powder in a glass of water. Drink it early morning. If one is drinking gooseberry powder or eating gooseberry in any form then make sure there is no risk of cyst development in the body.

Things to Avoid

Keep a minimum of 6 inches of difference from the computer screen. Do not rub the eyes even if irritation is felt. Do not wear contact lens for more than 8 hours.
