The disorder is divided in two categories-total female disorder and partial female disorder. In total female orgasmic disorder the woman is unable to experience even a single orgasm during any type of sexual activity. But in partial orgasmic disorder the woman is able to experience orgasm only after extra efforts.
Just because you are not able to achieve orgasm does not mean that you have this disorder. The problem could be pre-mature ejaculation from your partner`s side. It could also be result of taking certain anti-anxiety and anti-depressant drugs.

The disorder has key symptoms of lack of desire to have sex. They do not have any sexual fantasies and are least interested in love-making.
It is often result of stress in day to day life. It could also be due to low hormone levels as during menopause. Abusive relationships in the past or knowing a close relative having suffered from sexual abuse could be another major reason.

Female Sexual Arousal Disorder
Even though you are interested in having sex you cannot seem to feel an arousal for the same; then you are suffering from sexual arousal disorder.
This could be due to change in environment, reduced interest in partner, disturbed personal relation with partner or due to some other emotional problems.
Vaginal lubricants and estrogen supplements are helpful.
