Common Problems of Digestive System and Herbal Solutions

Major causes of constipation are diets low in fluids and fiber, emotional stress and lack of physical activity.

Infrequent constipation can be relieved by including more fruits in diet, regular exercise and by drinking plenty of water. Take powders of dandelion root, buttock and fennel in equal quantities and consume with some water. This mixture is a natural laxative.

Fresh garlic when taken with warm water early performs the same function.

Diarrhea

Discomfort of nausea and vomiting can be put to ease by consuming tea of chamomile and Meadowsweet. Echinacea and garlic are useful in case diarrhea caused due to some infection.

Herbal infusion prepared using of peppermint, lemon balm and chamomile is helpful in controlling vomiting.

Stomatitis

The condition is characterized by soreness in mouth, inflammation in mucous membranes of the mouth, excess saliva, halitosis and mild fever.

Stomatitis occurs in company with other digestive disorder or stress, menstruation and some infection. Citrus foods, garlic and echinnacea are high in zinc and thiamine. These help in strengthening the immunity.

Mixture of red sage, marshmallow and marigold is very helpful in reducing the symptoms.

Ulcers of the Digestive System

Gastric ulcer and peptic ulcer have common symptoms. These include loss of appetite, loss of vitality, gradual weight loss and intense pain in the stomach and other abdominal regions.

Standard herbal tea that consists of Agrimony, meadowsweet, marshmallow, marigold and lemon balm is extremely helpful in reducing the symptoms and soothing the ulcers.

Pain
