Building A Strong Immune System
Our immune system is our natural defense mechanism that helps us fight against the common bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms that cause infections. If our immune system is strong then we can lead a healthy life.
The environment that we live in today is not at all clean; there is lot of pollution and artificial disturbances which damage the balance of the ecosystem.
Similarly, the way we are living our life is also not something that can make us proud. Unhealthy lifestyle, consuming unhealthy food and indulgence in harmful activities like drinking and smoking has taken out the charm from our life.
All these unhealthy activities make our immune system hollow and thus we see increasing number of people suffering from one ailment or the other. Therefore it is very essential to build a strong immune system so that we can lead a healthy life, irrespective of the external conditions.
To keep a strong immune system it is necessary to have proper and healthy diet. One should not consume junk food or leftover food as it deprives our body from the nutrients. As far as possible, one should try to remain a vegetarian throughout. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables help in providing essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, fiber, etc. to the body which enhance the immune system.
Exercise is very essential as it helps the body to maintain a healthy metabolic rate which ensures that we stay away from obesity. Also, regular physical activity helps the bones and other organs to stay in good shape and work at an optimum efficiency. Due to this, a person with regular activity always feels fresh and is rarely seen to be ill.
Leading a stressful life is also very necessary to improve a stronger immune system. People who are subjected to constant stress are often seen to be suffering from different disorders as their immunity weakens. Also, it has been found that stress stimulates immunity suppressing chemicals like adrenaline, which weakens the immunity as the stress levels increase. Yoga, meditation and relaxation are effective ways to reduce stress.
To lead a healthy life, we must have a strong immune system. And strong immune system is not gifted; it is achieved by following proper lifestyle and healthy habits.
