Body Packs for Summers
Although winter season is more than a panic for dry skin, summers are more difficult for those with oily skin. With heat soaring higher day by day we need to gear up for it.
One common rule applicable for all skin types is to drink as much water as possible. It is the most natural way of getting rid of body toxins. Bathing should be made twiceevery day. This helps in washing of all topical dirt. Use a mild moisturizer during summers after bathing.
Commit one hour of your weekend on your summer skin care. Take 4 serving spoons of fuller’s earth. Mix 2 tbsp of aloe vera juice, 2 tbsp of lemon juice. Then put rose water to make smooth water. If you have dry skin, add 2 tbsp of glycerin, else put just half tbsp of glycerin. After the bath, apply this on the entire body and let dry. Wash off well with simple water and pat dry.
The orange peels that you have dried during winters would be used now. Take 5 leveled serving spoons of dried orange peels powder. Put 2 tbsp of sandalwood powder. Add rose water to create a paste. Add honey if you have dry skin. Apply this mixture all over your body and face, putting on face first. Let it work for 20 minutes then wash off with plain water.
For pool party, you will have you make skin ready for the heat. When tomato juice and lemon juice are mixed and applied on body for 15 days together, the skin gains strength to fight the sun.
Prepare your instant mixture for the week. Squeeze out cucumber juice and mix in equal quantities of rose water. Keep it in fridge. Every evening, take two cotton balls and dip in this cold mixture. Leave these on eyes for 10-15 minutes. The sun suffered eyes would become fresh as ever.
