Body Massage Oils
Amount of relaxation a nice massage over the weekend can simply revitalize your senses. The motive of massages is to provide better circulation of blood in the body so that more and more oxygen can
travel throughout the body. Massages are of different types, depending on what suits you. There are foot massages, head massages, hand massages, back massages, etc.
Massage tools include aromatic oils, a handy towel and a nice pair of hands. Although, massages are also performed with feet in some cultures. The pressure of the thumb and the palm play a very important role in massages. So does, the choice of oil. There are about 8 major types of oils to choose from. Some oils act as carrier oils, to be mixed with other oils. Others, can simply be used as it is.
For example, sweet almonds oil is complete oil in itself. It is non-greasy and has a nutty odour.
Due to its rich Vitamin E content, it is considered as anti-ageing oil. A nice massage with slightly warm almond oil would provide your skin with suppleness and avoids any form of dryness. It retards occurrence of wrinkles as well. Oil on the same lines of sweet almonds oil is Grapes seed oil. It is also non-greasy and provides much needed minerals and vitamins for the skin.
Both are as expensive as effective they are. However, those with oily skin must not use almond oil at all. Sweet smelling Jojoba oil can be used for all skin types. It can also be used as carrier oil and some drops for aroma oil can be added to it. Holy oil is carrier oil.
For very damaged or mature skin types, apricot oil and wheat germ oil are perfect. Both can be used with appropriate carrier oil. The fatty acid contents in wheat germ and presence of linoleic and linolenic acids is simply repairs sun–damaged skin.
Other choice of massage oils are hazelnut oil and avocado oil. Olive oil can be used as a carrier oil as well.
