Know your Days

Use your finger to take some fluid from your vagina. Strech it between your first two fingers and thumbs. If it stretches up to 2 inches or more then it is most fertile. This fluid plays a significant role in conceiving. It helps in slipping the sperm into the system for fertilization. Some women suffer from insufficient cervical fluid discharge.

Avoid Acidic Foods

Foods that are acidic disturb the balance of the pH of the body and of the vaginal fluids. Processed foods, sugary foods, excess salty foods and junk diets are all highly acidic in nature. They contribute in making the vaginal environment “unfriendly” for the sperm to survive.

Instead, eat fresh foods and vegetables like bananas, mangoes, oysters, shell fish, etc to nourish your body. A diet high in zinc, selenium and other antioxidants like vitamin C, A and E are said to improve fertility in both male and females. Additionally, these enhance libido.

Choice of Sexual Position

Your choice of sexual position significantly helps in getting pregnant. Choose a position in which the penis can have maximum penetration and women`s “parts” are in touch with the penis very closely.

Missionary position and Doggy style are most common positions to increase your chances of pregnancy.
