Amla is bombarded with vitamin C content. It has over more than 200 times more vitamin C than oranges. Vitamin C boosts the natural immunity of the body. Once may peel them and stream then with sugar to form what is called “murabba”. This “murabba” is asked to be taken with warm milk to increase its potency.
Pure amla powder is also available in market. You can mix 1 tsbp of amla powder in a glass of water and drink on early morning empty stomach. This remedy is said to improve eye sight.

In a steel glass take water and mix amla powder to make a smooth paste. Let it be over night. In morning, apply this paste and let it work for one hour. Wash off with normal water and do not use shampoo. Use curd as a conditioner.
