About Fake Nails

Fake nails are also called as acrylic nails. Fake nails are preferred by women over real nails for many reasons. These save them from the habit of taking regular care of the nails.  Also, many women agree that this helps them get rid of the habit of biting nails.

Also, natural nails demand too much care since they tend to become brittle and chip off. Although putting on fake nails is it may be harmful to the nails but with a little care this disadvantage can also be overcome.

Types of Fake Nails

The market is flooded with many types of fake nails. Most prominent ones are the wrap nails, sculptured nails and gel nails. Wrap nails are made of silk, fiberglass, linen or paper. These can be glued to the natural nails. These are least durable but they are most natural looking fake nails.
